Yěz Zis Birěkhka (/jɛz/ /zis/ [dark] [match (for fire)]) is a subtropical Large Town located in Ahalora Parish, Dewlǐq District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Yěz Zis Birěkhka is derived from the Constructi language, as Yěz Zis Birěkhka was founded by Xs-768c 'Frost' Gadshèdsm, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Yěz Zis Birěkhka has a yearly average temperature of 33°C (91°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 38°C (100°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 29°C (84°F). Overview

Yěz Zis Birěkhka was founded durring the late 15th century in summer of the year 1398, by Xs-768c 'Frost' Gadshèdsm. The establishment of Yěz Zis Birěkhka suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Yěz Zis Birěkhka which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Yěz Zis Birěkhka was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Yěz Zis Birěkhka is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Yěz Zis Birěkhka is is constructed arround a series of crampt gravel mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Yěz Zis Birěkhka's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. The town's top tier civilian fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

Before you’ve even set foot into the heart of Yěz Zis Birěkhka, you can smell it. The incense. It hangs about the town like a cloud. Monks, priests, and clerics are everywhere, all dedicated to the same god, all preforming the same rituals to bless and anoint building,s streets, people, animals, you name it they are or have blessed it. The same holysymbols is everywhere too. Its on buildings, on people, and even branded into livestock. This town certainly loves its god.

It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Yěz Zis Birěkhka was attacked by soldiers from another nation, with orders to raid Yěz Zis Birěkhka. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Yěz Zis Birěkhka lost 224 people, 305 livestock, and 87 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 69, when members of Yěz Zis Birěkhka's militia enacted an operation to recruit a specific noble. The operation was complicated by an outbreak of plague which struck the ranks, killing many and laying low many more. The conflict ended with an assault and siege on the fortification, which ended in victory for Yěz Zis Birěkhka's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Yěz Zis Birěkhka's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
